Charlie Tango (2018)

Office interior design

With Søren Rose Studio

With the renovation and extension af the existing office space for Danish creative agency Char- lie Tango, we designed a vibrant yet elegant office space to support a flexible work environment.

The concept was to create a coherent and minimalistic working environment, that offers opportunity for both co-creation and contemplation, while providing a beautiful and clean framework for the many different activities of the agency. To reflect the company identity of Charlie Tango we added some significant and surprising design elements in the form of sharp- ly colorful wall pieces and full room color schemes.

  • Colors from the companys original logo and identity was used throughout the interior to incorporate a subtle sense of brand identity.

As a continuous design element we have added sections of oiled pinewood slats in designated areas, giving texture and warmth. As a contrast to the minimalistic and clean feel of the space we have decorated with big plants, marble tables and sculptural lamps.

The big workspace is furnished with minimalistic glossy white desks with build-in storage to minimize the sight of cables and mess. The columns are wrapped in white oiled pinewood slats, high tables and large plants in between.

The backwall is decorated with blue oiled pinewood slats, giving a stunning color contrast to the surrounding space.

The three conference rooms is kept in monochrome colorways with curtains from floor to ceil- ing to add a sense of tactility to the rooms. Large conference tables inside, treated with color pigmented oil which highlights the structure of the wood. The curtains and textile helps to give a homely and relaxed feel the the spaces.

In the kitchen the backsplash has the same white oiled pinewood slats and custom shelves, white ceramic lamps and a white floor underlining the area as a white box.
